Mosha Senyolo has made history as the first black female President of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors ( ASAQS ). Although she describes her appointment as a “ surprise ,” those around her view it as a well-deserved achievement . Senyolo ’ s career has been marked by breaking barriers , and this new role is another milestone in her trailblazing journey .
Senyolo reflects on her new position with gratitude , noting , “ Becoming the first black woman president of such a respected organization is an honor . It stands as a testament to my dedication and passion for our profession .” Her previous role as junior vice president provided her with valuable insights and preparation for the presidency .
