Leadership Philosophy and Company Culture
The High Street Auction Co team has encountered its fair share of challenges, most notably during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this period of disruption, the company was forced to adapt quickly to stay relevant in an increasingly competitive market.
“ The group had to be innovative during the pandemic,” Greg says.“ Business disruption forced us to think differently about how we operate, and that meant embracing new technologies and ways of working. This agility has allowed us to thrive, even in tough times.”
Since then, it has been nothing like business as usual as companies have had to not only recover from the fall out of Covid-19 but also protracted load shedding and economic turbulence. The chief challenge has been to position the High Street Auction Co as a partner to businesses wishing to unlock liquidity or embark on successful business rescue.
Using a similar approach to the one taken by the real estate arm of the business, the High Street Auction Company has recently announced its intention to diversify and sell other assets, including high end luxury goods, fleet, and machinery.
