Another milestone in Greg’ s career was his entrepreneurial role within a cutting-edge technology company and being a part of a management buyout. As part of this team, Greg was tasked with rebranding the company and his team secured large contracts with clients – but this came with its own stresses.
He admits that this venture taught him valuable lessons when it came to risk management, decision-making, and business ownership. They ultimately sold to a large global organisation.
These diverse experiences, combined with Greg’ s keen strategic mindset, paved the way for his eventual move to the High Street Auction Co, where he grew to take on a leadership role as part of a team that would help shape the company’ s future.

Greg joined the High Street Auction Co almost ten years ago, bringing with him not only a wealth of experience but a fresh perspective. Since his arrival, he has been part of an innovative team that has shaped the company’ s strategy, growth, and success.
“ I started out as a sales broker and have had the privilege of having been on the Executive for the last two years. My passion for the business and what I enjoy most culminate in the same thing- the people within my team focused on real estate, the external brokers with which we work and the other professionals with which I work every day or at each auction,” he explains.
Over the past 15 years, the High Street Auction Co has established itself as a premier brand within the real estate space, breaking auction records and notching up significant milestones which have included the sale of some of the most expensive residential and commercial properties in South African history.
