So, I go to their house when it’s convenient for them and I find we get to discuss the important issues a lot quicker.” Over the years, Olivia has seen women in most financial situations and she knows there are plenty more out there that need her help. “An ever- increasing number of women are turning away from traditional workplace roles to working for themselves. And as they do, they’re losing the security of superannuation, workers compensation and insurances to cover them in times of hardship. As with most things in a real entrepreneur mum’s life, we’re too busy putting everyone else first and that includes looking after ourselves regarding retirement and risk management. But in the long run, we’re not providing ourselves, or our families, with the protection and security we think we are.
