We’ve raised just under £30,000 for Rockinghorse!
Renowned for our commitment to
contributing to our local communities,
we’ve raised just under £30,000
for Rockinghorse. To celebrate
Rockinghorse’s 50th year anniversary,
we’ve hosted and sponsored a variety of
fundraising events including the Brighton
Medieval Banquet, sporting lunch The
Best of British, the MWB Annual Golf Day
and smaller in-house fundraising events.
With this huge achievement in year one
of a two year partnership, the future of
fundraising looks prosperous, with plans
for events for the next year already in
the works. There’s even talk of another
Medieval Banquet! Individuals in the firm
have also been on their own fundraising
crusades including our chief Chris
Randall doing 50 miles for 50 years of
Rockinghorse.
If you’d like to do your bit for
Rockinghorse why not take a look at their
upcoming fundraising events on their

Rockinghorse’s 50th year welcomes the
launch of the ‘Sussex Giving for Sussex
Children’ initiative, where they will aim
to provide £500,000 worth of funding
which will be split between 10 worthy
children’s centres and paediatric services
in Sussex. Striving to make their services
stimulating, cutting edge and accessible
for the many babies, children and young
people who need them, through their 50th
year appeal, they’re aiming to make a real
difference with some deserving projects.

The charity sporting lunch has become
a consistently sold-out event and a
highlight in the calendar for many local
businesses in the city. Guests enjoyed

deep to give generously in the raffle and

Ryan Heal, Chief Executive of
Rockinghorse, and organiser of the
Best of British event, said: “For any
charity to be going strong for 50 years
is quite incredible. When Dr Trevor
Mann started Rockinghorse in the late
sixties, I’m sure he would be proud that
his vision is still going strong as events
like Best of British show. Through our
Golden Jubilee appeal, we are providing
vital support to centres and services
for young people in Sussex and are
extremely grateful for the generosity
shown at our sporting lunch.”
