about a spider that is trying to ‘climb up the water spout,’ but the rain keeps coming and ‘washing
the spider out.’ Then ‘out came the sun and dried up all the rain and the itsy bitsy spider climbed up
the spout again.’
The most frequent moral taken from ‘The Itsy Bitsy Spider’ is that one should keep trying and not
give up because eventually, one will reach their goal. There will also be moments when one is being
pushed down and one feels like giving up, but something or someone will come along and push
them towards their goal. Have faith in your own self and give the best you can, do not let the
circumstance undermine your own capability. Remember always “No one can understand you more
than yourself”. And the time you feel like quitting just shout aloud “I CAN, I WILL, I MUST”; once you
subvert the circumstance and achieve your goal, you will feel the adrenaline rushing through your
veins, which is pleasant feel of happiness.

AUTUMN
Days of autumn have now come
Falling leaves, withering beauty in the setting sun
Days of plenty have now gone
Cold and dark shall envelope every lawn
All that was built is now falling
A new age, a new life will soon be calling
It’s time to relax, think of our success
At the end of our fall we shall also rest.
