At dinner time there are around 100 people in the restaurant so it's obvious there's going to be a lot of chatting and talking, but on top of that you have the screaming loud music. It's not just some background music. You can not hear what your friends are talking about unless you have your ear pressed against their mouth, but this is pretty much the problem with any Hard Rock cafe.
What I had for dinner was the Legendary 10 oz. Burger, and it's safe to say it was the best burger I've had, ever. The 10 oz. medium rare steak was seriously amazingly cooked and seasoned. The tomatoes and salad were fresh and added that ”lightness” to the burger (although, how light can a 10 oz. Steak burger be...). What really made the burger the best ever was the perfectly crispy bacon, a greasy onion ring and two slices of cheddar, yum. This was the first time in years I ate red meat and it was absolutely worth it!
The cost of the burger was 19.95€, which is quite pricey, but it was definitely worth the money. The alcoholic beverages were around 8-12 euros and the soft drinks were 3-5 euros, which again is quite a lot of money, but you've got to have a drink with your burger.
Overall it was a good dinner. Sure the loud music was somewhat irritating, but the excellent food really made up for it! I definitely think that Hard Rock Cafe Helsinki was worth visiting.
