QUESTION
In recent years we have seen revivals in Jungle music and
Deep House.Although UKG still remained a constant in club
land (more notably in the formats of 2 Step, 4x4 and Bass
music) the last couple of years have seen resurgence in the
more traditional Four to the floor format of House & Garage
music. What are your thoughts around the current House &
Garage scene? Do you feel that it is merely nothing more
than a passing trend? Or do you feel that new found freedom
within the UK House & Garage sound will give it the longevity
it needs to return the music to the forefront of modern club
culture for many years to come?

ANSWER
The music world is a different place and I don’t think any
mass movement will come like it did in the past, due to the
way music is accessed, this has fragmented the way we hear
music so will always have lots of pockets in music.
