Executing
The ability to execute tasks and project is a skill that takes time to develop, and
may entail many iterative cycles of trial and error.
Controlling - The aim of controlling is to make sure that everything transpires
in line with the standards. A well-organized system of control helps to foresee
nonconformities before they actually occur.
Controlling has following steps:
1. Establishment of standard performance.
2. Measurement of actual performance.
3. Comparison of actual performance with the standards and finding out deviation if
any.
4. Corrective action.
Monitoring & Evaluating
● Ensure a suitable monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system is in place and is
operating adequately. Intermittently review and revise the system so that it is
adjusted appropriately to altering operating contexts.
● Guarantee applicable and timely M&E information is made available in a
user-friendly manner to key stakeholders, which includes beneficiary
communities, senior management and donors.
● Providing training and mentoring for staff.
● Act as a focal point to arrange and manage monitoring reviews, evaluations
and/or After Action Reviews (AARs).
