Conditioning ’ s ( SAIRAC ) premier events , the FRIGAIR expo is the largest dedicated HERVAC trade exhibition in Africa and dates back to 1980 . New dates are set for 01 – 03 June 2022 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand .
Having been pushed back a year due to the ongoing pandemic , the industry has already green-lighted this event through firstly the positive response to the kick start week held in June this year that produced almost 21 000 page views . Secondly , the continual enquires both for visitation and exhibiting is growing . A lot of progress in techniques and technology has occurred of late , driven primarily by solutions to aspects related to indoor air quality as well as efficiency and the fight against global warming .
It will have been four years since the last FRIGAIR and all role players are enthusiastically anticipating the opportunity to partake in a large-scale face-to-face experience once again as many , if not all , sectors struggle with the latest term , ‘ digital fatigue ’ – although digital platforms do have their place , the HERVAC industry has always found the best outcomes through physical interactions .
