‘ ON THE ROAD ’ 2021 EXPO

We can all agree that the year 2020 was one of the most unpredictable years , not just in our personal lives but also within the HVAC & R industry .
During the hard lockdown within South Africa , we had very limited to almost no interaction with customers , suppliers , and colleagues , not to mention the FRIGAIR Exhibition and many other events that were postponed or entirely cancelled .
With the support of our trusted partners , the ‘ On the Road ’ 2021 Expo came to life as a means of reconnecting . This expo was not your usual exhibition as it has been travelling across South Africa from one Eurocool branch to another showcasing the latest energy-efficient products .
There were two parts of the exhibition , the daily show , and the evening show allowing guests to visit the show around their busy schedules .
Guests had the opportunity to meet our trusted partners , experience the products through live demonstrations , and gain knowledge about the technical aspects of the products . Some of these live demonstrations included :
• The Danfoss trailer with a fully functional Optyma Unit
• The Bitzer Ecostar + the IQ Module
• Ebm-Papst Fans
• The new Eurocool UltraPack condensing unit
• Gree Air-conditioning
• and many more .
Not only did guests have the opportunity to experience each unique product but they were also able to enter one of several lucky draws that were sponsored by Bitzer , Danfoss , Embraco , BNF , Kulthorn Kirby , Fuchs Lubricants , and Testo .
" The exhibition had its challenges in terms of lockdown levels that changed during the time from January , but it was a big success and the visitors enjoyed it ," says Dedré van Tonder .
All Covid-19 regulations were adhered to . Upon entry , guests were scanned , and hands were sanitised . Social distancing was kept , and sanitising bottles were stationed at each display . Guests also received their very own drinking mug for refreshments and a Bitzer buff for use as a face mask .
