SARACCA INTRODUCES DIGITAL COMPLIANCE TOOLS

Contributed by SARACCA
The objective is to inform the HVAC & R industry about SARACCA’ s new digital initiatives and training platforms, which are designed to improve compliance, strengthen industry standards, and enhance support and connectivity for members and practitioners.

The South African Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors

Association( SARACCA) is strengthening support for South Africa’ s HVAC & R industry through the development of new digital tools, training platforms, and improved member engagement initiatives. These efforts aim to help contractors, technicians and businesses operate more efficiently within an increasingly regulated environment.
To improve access to information and industry support, SARACCA is currently developing a dedicated digital chatbot that will be integrated into its online platforms. The chatbot will provide immediate guidance on membership queries, training opportunities, compliance requirements, and other key industry resources, offering both existing and prospective members faster and more convenient access to essential information.
SARACCA has also introduced an Electronic Certificate of Compliance( COC) Training Platform available on its website. This platform assists practitioners in correctly issuing Certificates of Compliance within the HVAC & R industry, helping strengthen regulatory adherence, improve documentation accuracy and maintain professional standards across the sector.
These initiatives are supported by SARACCA’ s network of accredited training providers, who continue to deliver specialised programmes aligned with industry standards and equip practitioners with the technical and regulatory knowledge required in modern refrigeration and airconditioning systems.
To further strengthen collaboration within the industry, SARACCA also facilitates regional WhatsApp groups for members, enabling professionals to stay informed, exchange knowledge and engage directly with peers and industry representatives within their regions.
Together, these developments reflect SARACCA’ s ongoing commitment to modernising industry support, improving compliance, and strengthening professional development pathways within South Africa’ s HVAC & R sector. RACA
