A Heat Exchanger recovery system , the Kronos combi boiler cools down flue gas formed as a result of burning , to result in condensation of water vapor in flue gas before it is exhausted . Burning is controlled via a modulating fan with a Hall Effect sensor . It provides comfort and savings with 102.5 % efficiency and a 35 % modulation rate .

THE NEW DAIKIN VRV 5 HEAT RECOVERY
The Daikin VRV 5 Heat Recovery is a VRV unit for simultaneous cooling and heating of medium-sized and large commercial buildings using heat recovery and the climate-friendlier R-32 refrigerant .
The air-to-air heat pump with R-32 refrigerant offers a remarkable 68 % lower GWP ( global-warming potential ) with less refrigerant compared to systems using the market standard R-410A refrigerant . This significantly reduces the greenhouse gas impact by up to 71 %. The Daikin VRV 5 Heat Recovery ’ s heat recovery system enables simultaneous cooling and heating for individual comfort control and heat shifting between rooms with the system in cooling or heating mode .
The new Daikin VRV 5 Heat Recovery safety concept , which meets the requirements of the product-specific standard IEC 603335-2-40 ( Ed . 6 ), includes factory-integrated safety devices in all VRV indoor units . In the rare event of a leakage on an indoor unit , this is detected by a built-in sensor . An alarm is then issued to the operator via the Madoka remote control and the respective line is shut off by valves in the BSSV box . The rest of the system remains in operation so that the malfunction has no influence on the function of the heat pumps in other rooms . The switch box also has an integrated leakage sensor . Depending on the building project and room size , it can be flexibly determined whether additional on-site safety devices should be connected to the BSSV box .
