THE ART OF COOL

ACA Journal was fortunate to be invited to Seoul Korea to
attend the LG 2019 press tour in October.
After a long flight the press was warmly received and made
to feel right at home for the full duration of the trip. It was a full
programme starting early each morning and ending each evening
after experiencing local cuisine and of course the famous and
traditional Korean beverage, Soju.
A significant portion of the trip was focused on new
technology relating to electronics and appliances and it was
impressive to see how advanced the technology is.
RACA Journal attended a presentation by Ken Hong who
heads up Global Communications for the LG Group, and he
shared information and statistics about the group and LG’s
various business units. The basic trends across all LG products,
including residential air conditioner (RAC), is primarily customer
experience supported by, efficiencies, comfort, intelligence and
simplification brought about through improved technology.
Talking specifically about the latest RAC product from
the brand, Choi Yong Park, product specialist, highlighted
the elements of Artcool. LG Electronics is presenting ample
evidence of its RAC market leadership with the Artcool line-up
for South Africa. Equipped with an array of smart features and
sleek designs, the latest models offer power and performance
