rink, pool, and creche,” she explained. An incubation hub is the
heart of the innovation that will equip qualified artisans with
business skills for the outside world. At the back of the venue
there was a copper model built to show what the proposed
development would look like, where students could stay on
while studying.
Döbelin motivated that the City may have a boarding school
for students to stay and complete their one to two year courses.
“It will have three workshops to facilitate the different trades.
The entire project is set to be self-sustainable using various
green initiatives like solar, groundwater, and so on.” It’ll further
offer growth in one place allowing students to work in factories
adjacent. It is estimated that three factories will provide the
learners the necessary job experience to practice what they learn
in the workshops. “Nobody should be unemployed. We have so
much work to do,” she enthused.
German visitors shared their excitement for the project
emphasising that they fully back the Centre and give the City
a thumbs up. Snacks and a light lunch where offered after the
