ON QG CLUBS
The Hindu Society of QUT (HSQUT) is
affiliated with the QUT Guild and got
it’s first AGM on 16th August, 2016. It is
a platform for the Hindu communities
(students, staffs and alumni) and who
value/practice the philosophies and
cultures of Hinduism on/off campus.
The aims and objectives of HSQUT
are as follows:

Practice solidarity on/off the campus
among -
• QUT students, staffs and alumni
who belong to Hindu communities
from all over the world, and
• Individuals and groups, who value
and/or practice philosophies and
cultures of Hinduism, from inside
and outside the campus.
Provide a multinational and multicultural
platform to explore, discuss, learn, and
practice various paths of Hinduism.
Organise, celebrate and participate
various rituals, events, festivals, and
occasions associated with the Australian
and International Hindu communities.
Providing ‘Seva’ (service) to the greater
community.
HSQUT is organising/participating social
gathering, events/rituals, cultural concerts,
discussion sessions, lectures, exhibitions,
workshops and humanitarian activities.
Short after affiliation, HSQUT has arranged
the successful event Diwali at GP campus
on 28/10/2016. It is highly appreciated by
the students and staffs of QUT.
HSQUT is planning it’s signature event
‘Swaraswati (the Goddess of knowledge)
Puja’ in February/March 2017.
