The Adobe software such
as Premier Pro and After
Effects was a key part in
making our music video.
Premier Pro allowed us to
cut clips together and
create the colour overlays
and the cloning effect
which was a big hit when
gathering audience
feedback.
When filming, me and Connor
used a Nikon d5200 DSLR
camera and a standard tripod.
We wanted our shots to be
clear and stable. This not only
made is easier to create the
cloning effect, but also allowed
the audience to have more
clarity when watching the video.
The Video
The Iphone proved to be
incredibly important when
creating our video and ancillary
tasks. The Iphone allowed us to
take behind the scene shots
which helped us when reviewing
our progress. Not only this, but the
Iphone helped us communicate
with the actors that were going to
be featured within the video, as
we made a group chat to confirm
dates and times of availability.
In addition, After Effects
allowed us to create the
indie hand drawing effect
that we aimed to
maintain throughout all
our products, in order to
give our audience some
consistency within our
products.
YouTube was really helpful during the
research and planning stages. YouTube
allowed us to view other music videos
from other A2 groups and gather
inspiration from real music videos. In
addition, YouTube was the platform that
I and Connor chose to publish our music
video so our audience could view it.
