Music video 'Lights Out'
My whole media product: music video, website and CD package all include the vampire character, and Stoker's album 'Moral Panic' as a whole is advertised by the vampire on the album cover. I wanted this figure to be perpetuated across my media product so that the band was easily identified and the album cover was memorable. I also deployed the character, specifically on the album's cover in order to better display the metaphor for social stigma and moral panic, in a satirical manner. This meant that my CD cover would still be seen as humorous, likewise with my music video, but that they both has a subliminal message within their text about these issues.
