Kindilan Family Adventure Fun Day / GACO weekend
Our Fun Day will be held on 12 October 2013. If you are interested in volunteering on the day, contact Cathy Crittenden on 0419 795 268 or email outdoors @ guidesqld. org. We are looking for Guide-ratified abseil, low ropes or water activities instructors or those who are keen to lend a hand in other areas.
Emergency Contact
Included in our paperwork you will notice that we require details for an emergency contact. Ensure that an offsite emergency contact person for your group is provided in the Guest Register form. This person will be an offsite contact whilst you are at Kindilan.
Kindilan’ s 60th Celebration
Kindilan will continue to celebrate 60 years of Guiding at Kindilan until 4 July. All campers visiting Kindilan from July 2012 to July 2013 will receive a free cloth Jubilee badge in celebration of this event and a metal badge if you camp a further second time until they run out. We have limited badges remaining. Please let us know if you have not claimed your badges. Contact us now!
Front Gate Code
Please note that the‘ on-call’ number has been removed from the pin pad instructions at the front gate. It is the Leader’ s responsibility to ensure that all guests have the gate code prior to your booking for access on to the property. Your parents will be contacting you for access.
Bunk Bed Policy Reminder
Children under 9 years of age should avoid sleeping on top bunks. However, it will be the parents / LIC and those with duty of care for minors that will make the decision on who sleeps where. If you have a large group of children under 9 years, contact us as minimum numbers may be waived and additional accommodation areas allocated.
