’ s fair to say we all needed a holiday from the holiday !” laughs Sharaine of the fabulous five-day wedding / birthday celebrations she shared with husband Daniel in Noosa . “ We did things a little backwards with our wedding ,” she explains . “ Daniel had already organised his 40th birthday in Noosa , with 160 friends mainly travelling from New Zealand , so we decided to have our wedding two days before as everyone was making the effort to make the trip over .” So the couple had actually booked their wedding before even getting formally engaged ! Now there ’ s a twist ! “ Two months later we got engaged in an intimate setting at home ,” says Sharaine . Rewind a decade and there was “ an instant connection ” when the pair was first introduced by a mutual friends – but the timing wasn ’ t quite right . “ We had an eight-year break but never lost that certain spark for each other ,” says Sharaine . “ When we eventually got back together we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together .” queenslandbrides . com . au 103
