Compare your weekday routines, including what you do in the home and outside the home,
with whom, and when you do it.

Interpersonal Speaking
In groups of three, pretend that you are a family in
Spain. One of you is the parent and the other two are
the children. Prepare a conversation about household
chores. The parent assigns the chores, and the children
decide which ones they can’t or shouldn’t do and why.
To prepare, review the lesson vocabulary, grammar, and
culture, as well as other words that will help you come
up with some creative reasons. The parent has the final
decision on who does what and when.

A: Natalia, hoy debes doblar la ropa.
B: ¿Yo? ¡Pero acabo de llegar y tengo muchas tareas por hacer! ¿Por qué
no la dobla Riqui?
