Green Machine

Good for:

Immune bootser; high in iron and fibre

Ingredients:

2 cups Kale, 1 cup spinach, 1 stalk celery, 2 kiwis and 2 green apples (add pinapple for extra sweetness)

Equipment: An average blender or food grinder

Banana Pie Brownie

Good for:

Potassium, iron and fibre, as well as natural fats and sugars

Ingredients:

1 ripe banana, 1 cup cashews, a handful of dates, 1 cup raw oats, vanilla and mixed spice to taste

Equipment an average blender and a bowl to keep the cashews soaked in water over night or prior to you getting ready for work. Blend these first--it'll make your cashew milk. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until all is liquidized.

Merry Berry Ex-Christmas

Good for:

All your vitamins, immune booster and natural sugars

Ingredients:

11 cup strawberries, 1 ripe banana, 1 cup blue berries and black berries, 1 cup pure pressed mango juce

Equipment: your average blender. You might want to freeze the berries overnight for an extra cold, extra refreshing smoothie

Strawberries and Creams

Good for:

Potassium, vitamins, natural fats and indulgence!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup strawberries, 2 ripe bananas, 1 scoop vanilla ice cream, 1 cup coconut milk, a handful of pecans

Equipment: a high-watt blender is preferred, but for average blenders, chop up the fruit first
