Liebherr presents new RIV 2.5D ring-pan mixer
US-based Superior Industries has launched a new attrition mill in its line of washing and classifying machinery. The 37kW machine provides an efficient solution for sand applications including disintegration of conglomerates, material separation, and surface cleaning and polishing. Coated with long lasting urethane, the mill’ s tank and impellers are built to endure tough sand cleaning applications. Round tubs eliminate swirling and corner material collection, while a large, watertight sealed door makes for convenient maintenance. The attrition mill has a 137cm outside diameter and height of 183cm, and was designed to handle 75 – 120 tonnes per hour.
SANY launched its SY750H heavy-duty excavator and three C10-series rock drilling rotary drilling rigs at bauma China 2016. The 76.2-tonne SY750H is designed for heavy load operation at mines and, according to Sany, offers a significantly higher bucket digging force( 67 %) and arm digging force( 129 %) than standard excavators. The excavator is highly customisable: its 4.2m ³ bucket is replaceable; the hammer, scarifier and hydraulic breaker are optional; and the excavator arm can be removed and replaced by either a twosection arm or a standard arm. Sany claims the excavator can simultaneously increase operating efficiency and reduce fuel consumption, both by up to 10 %. The C10 rotary drilling rigs have Isuzu engines, six-gear control, tailormade chassis, fifth generation rotary drive, and a new main winch design, making them suitable for rock drilling and foundation work in various geological conditions.

Bauma China 2016 saw Liebherr present its RIV 2.5D ringpan mixer— a new ring-pan mixer for the concrete and prefabricated parts industry.
The new system features a ring-trough system with a specially formed ring canal that guarantees rapid homogenisation by forcing the complete mix to flow to the mixing paddles or tools, with high agitator speeds preventing lump formation.
Two agitator tools are fixed to the main agitator at different distances, guaranteeing quick and optimal mixing in all areas. Two high-performance electric motors mean that the speed of the double-agitator system can be adjusted independently from the main gear, allowing tool speeds to be optimally adjusted depending on the progress of the mixing process.
A frequency converter enables the adjustment of rotational speeds to a given mix design during mixing. Different rotational speeds for wet and dry mixing can be selected during the filling process, as well as during discharge.
The wide-open trough allows optimal material feed and free access to the mixing tools, as well as quick and thorough cleaning. The cover is free from overhead attachments, making it possible to open the mixer by between 30 % and 60 %, depending on the application. The gear and drive motors are arranged below the mixer, leaving sufficient room up top for material feed and dedusting components.
