Graduating Class of ' 22
The 53rd commencement of the Perkiomen Valley High School honored 472 students - representing a 98 % graduation rate . Graduating students were awarded over $ 5.5 million in scholarship money .
After-High-School Plans
88 % plan to enroll in higher education 6 % plan to enter the workforce 4 % are undecided 2 % plan to enter the military
Athletics
Art Food Truck Festival Health and Wellness Viking Genius Bar
Organized by the PV Art Teachers , the annual Art Food Truck Festival showcases the arts ! Proceeds help fund enrichment opportunities and high impact learning experiences for students !
Interactive Instructional Resources
PV continues to incorporate hands-on learning resources in support of teaching and learning . Installation of interactive panels began in the 21-22 school year . The multiphase project is scheduled to conclude in the 23-24 school year .
PV is committed to the support of mental health . Staff include : 8 building-level elementary counselors 6 building-level middle school counselors 7 building-level high school counselors 3 district social workers 3 district board certified behavior analysts ( BCBA ) 6 district psychologists
PV ' s first-ever Path to Health and Wellness symposium was held in spring offering educational opportunities in areas of physical , mental , and emotional health .
Students Giving Back
Students organized and managed a variety of service projects and fundraisers to benefit community programs and organizations , such as : Walk-a-Thon - benefiting student events and initiatives Pajamathon - benefiting CHOP and community programs Stuff-a-Bus - benefiting U . S . Marine Corps ’ Toys-for-Tots Foundation Positive Pals Toy Drive - benefiting the local SPCA Take Action - benefiting the Humane Society of the United States
Viking Athletics celebrated a PAC Championship in football , 6th place in districts for girls basketball , and several medals in swimming , diving , and track and field !
New to the 21-22 school year , this high school class affords opportunities for students to participate in self-guided activities ( including computer maintenance ) and to explore interests through passion projects .
