Golf Tournament
Held annually at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane, this tournament includes an 18-hole round of golf and contests for 4-person teams. Golf is followed by dinner, raffles, awards and prizes for players and guests. Participation is open to both Chamber and non-Chamber members. This event is highly recommended for social networking, sponsorship and promotional opportunities.
Leadership Putnam Program
This nine-week course( meeting on pre-determined consecutive weekdays beginning in April) is intended to provide participants with a thorough understanding of county operations. Classes meet on location with representatives from law enforcement, government, education, social service agencies, utility suppliers, health care providers, manufacturers and business people. Participation is open to both Chamber and non-Chamber members for a nominal fee; class size is limited. Highly recommended for civicminded individuals interested in learning more about community assets and services.
