Lindsey NeSmith’ 15 is working as a Wish Granter for Make-a-Wish Foundation. She is an Alpha Delta Pi at University of Tennessee where she is studying Journalism.
Shaina Toledo’ 15 recently returned from a semester abroad in Barcelona and Spain and will be starting her senior year at The University of Illinois Chicago’ s School of Theater. She was recently cast as one of the female leads in their upcoming production of the play Electricidad.
Camille Bostick’ 16 is an Entertainment Industry Studies major with a theatre minor at Belmont University.
Chelsea Burt’ 16 was named to the All-Freshman Conference Basketball Team this year and last year while playing at Faulkner University. She has since transferred to Auburn University Montgomery. This summer she coached the Nike Elite basketball camps in Nashville with Coaches Drew Maddux and Becky Legate in July. She will continue her Sports Psychology major next year.
Daniel Calhoun’ 16 attends Auburn University where he is a Student Recruiter( campus tour guide). Additionally, he was elected to represent the Harbert College of Business in the 2018-19 Student Senate. He is also President Pro-Tempore, in charge of the Senate executive committee, which controls all legislation coming to the Senate floor, as well as having an administrative role.
Addison Pascarella’ 16 is attending the University of Tampa. She is majoring in Allied Health with concentration in Physical Therapy / Minoring in Psychology. She will be getting her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Additionally, she is in the Honors program, won the Presidential Scholarship, and Presidential Leaderships Fellows scholarship along with a scholarship to study abroad for the summer in Costa Rica( 2016). This year she was named the Top Academic Anatomy and Physiology Student in the Health Science Department at University of Tampa. She was named to the AEP program( Academic Excellence Program for Mentors) and will serve as an assistant to the Professors with duties to mentor, tutor, and lecture. Also, she was inducted into Panhellenic IFC Scholars. She is a member of SPOTS( Sports Physiology and Occupational Therapy Students), Delta Zeta sorority, and volunteers weekly at Tampa General Hospital. Addy was a PNR at Elite Sports Medicine and Orthopedics this summer in Nashville.
Spencer Petty’ 16 remains on the Dean’ s List after completing her sophomore year at University of Southern California as a Journalism major with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. She is the Business Relations Assistant Director for Student Government at USC and Service Director for her sorority, Theta, and continues to volunteer about 15-20 hours a week as Participant Coordinator for the California Miss Amazing organization, which is the same non-profit she started in Tennessee while in high school.
Charlotte Wallace’ 16 attends Pepperdine University and has had the chance to participate in one of their study abroad programs for the past year. She has traveled to Croatia, Rome, Switzerland, France, Amsterdam, Budapest, Morocco, Florence, Venice, Copenhagen, Seville, Portugal, Greece and Sweden.
Anna Avinger’ 17 played with the Davidson Womens Soccer team during the spring season as a walk-on. She loves the girls on the team and the hard work required. She stays busy between soccer, taking pre-med courses, and being a part of FCA and RUF.
Rob Butler’ 17 lived in Nashville for the summer, as he worked multiple internships in the music industry. He also worked at the Grand Ole Opry. He will be back at Mississippi State University in the fall.
Philip Clarke’ 17 was a starter on the Vanderbilt University baseball team. The team did very well and won the Clemson Regional, which allowed them to host Super Regionals. Philip was named to the Clemson Regional All-Tournament team and was named a Freshman All-American. He spent his summer playing baseball in the Cape Cod League for the Orleans Firebirds.
Betsey Ellis’ 17 presented her senior research from her senior year at CPA at the American Academy of the Advancement of Science( AAAS)/ American Junior Academy of Science( AJAS) in Austin, TX. She presented in a poster session and oral presentation.
Savannah LeGate’ 17 finished her freshman year at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and was named Division 3 National Rookie of the Year for Womens Basketball. She was also named SAAC conference Player of the Year and Conference Newcomer of the Year. She is majoring in English.
Will Peters’ 17 is majoring in Television Writing and Production at Chapman University’ s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in Orange, CA.
