waking existence – pure joy and delight.
Each sefirot has attributes and each path can be attributed to a lesson. Those qualities have vices and virtues, positive and negatives, that can be applied to aspects of living. The pathways of the Tree of Life are attributed letters of the Hebrew alphabet, which have their own meaning, and for some are applied teachings from enlightened spiritual teachers. Anyone can connect the understood meanings of each sefirot and lesson to a methodology that speaks to their life-path (Tarot, Angels, Reiki symbols, etc.).
The lessons of one of history’s Master Kabbalists (Yeshua bar Yosef, a/k/a Jesus) allow great insight into the paths of enlightenment. This is the subject of an insightful publication by Migene González-Wippler, “Keys to the Kingdom,” in which the light of Kabbalah is shown through the teachings of Master Yeshua. González-Wippler also shares the transformative power of knowledge, study and the secrets behind the once hidden science. While other paths of Kabbalah may offer alternative teachings attributed to each sphere and path, González-Wippler combines her family’s faith-based customs in a very life-empowering way through practice and ritual.
Life Diagnosis
“Yet thy Teacher shall not hide Himself any more,
but thine eyes shall see thy Teacher.” (Isaiah 30:20)
With no direct knowledge of the spheres and paths in the Tree of Life, a person can view it drawn geometrically (without tracing) and then separately by their own hand. The mind, body and soul will utilize this technique (no matter how conscious the person is of the copying of the drawing) to tell the story of that person at that moment.
For a more in-depth life analysis, Kabbalists look at the size, thickness and shape of the drawn spheres and paths between them. Sitting with the client, both Kabbalist and client scrutinize every element and detail of the drawing(s). They compare the drawing to the original from which it was copied. Was there any element left out? What are the differences? Did the person draw it unbalanced? Does the drawing look forcefully balanced? They study how the Tree of Life was drawn – did they speed through it, take their time, was it a struggle, did it seem easy? They compare the elements of the drawing to the symptoms discussed. Do the elements of the Tree correspond to issues they are having in their physical body?
Both client and Kabbalist walk through the structure of each element of the Tree to their life. How do those elements lead them to a better understanding of where they are? Where they wish to be? Where might they be heading into their future? The drawings can tell an epic story.
