What Did Jesus Mean?

God works in mysterious ways. However, mentioning many mysterious things experienced on our paths, some often question the origin of these experiences, viewing different practices or seemingly unusual beliefs, visions, healing, and meditation techniques as a deviation from biblical understanding that open a door to darkness, and trample the teachings of mainstream Christian theology.
We are left with a religion and practice more concerned with a coming of God's wrath and disdain for the human condition and our failings. The message of unconquerable hope, the true existence and whereabouts of the Kingdom of God, and the teachings of a Savior who wished for all of us to find this Kingdom and dwell there is all but lost in a suffocating dogma.
The visible marks of Christianity today seem to resemble Christ's message less and less as we get swept up in social concepts of judgment and the inevitable damnation of the human spirit due to original sin and the forever fallible nature of being human. What has resulted is a mere checklist of dos and don'ts to determine whether you are a true believer or a charlatan.
