Care to do some

café-hopping?

Few months ago, I was discussing with a friend over where to meet up for a casual gathering when we realised that both of us enjoy cafes with nice ambience. Since then, we decided to go on a little café expedition every month to explore the different cafes on this little red dot. If you happen to love coffee, cakes or great ambience, you may want to check out these cafes. Michelle

Eat, Play, Love

As the name suggests, this café is not just for enjoying food, they also have a kids’ play corner for your child to do some arts & crafts that we used to do during our childhood, such as sand art, handicrafts etc. Daddies or mummies may want to bring your children there to dine and do some arts and crafts while you reminisce your childhood. The café's display of an array of childhood snacks and toys will definitely bring back all those childhood memories...

3. Cups and Canvas

Are you an art-lover? If you are, this café may suit you most. Other than dining and catching up with friends, you can also roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty with some painting! And if you think service is the most important in the F&B industry, you mustn’t give this café a miss! Their service is top notch.

4. Crafts Bakery & Café

Located in the famous Holland Village, this café attracts many people to come and relax or just catch up with friends. While the decoration isn’t extraordinarily special, their lava cakes, however, is something one will not miss. Yum!!

2. Chye Seng Huat Hardware

From the name, you may think that it is a hardware shop rather than a café. In fact, this is by far the most interesting café I have been to. This place used to be a hardware shop before it was being converted to the current café. On the outside, one can never tell there is a café hidden inside, but the moment you open the café door, the strong scent of coffee gushes right to you. If you are a coffee addict, this is the best place you should go. Other than enjoying a nice cup of coffee, reading your book or just simply be at peace with the surrounding, you can also purchase their special coffee powder.

5. Windowsill in the Woods

If you happen to be one who likes cute stuff, you may want to consider this café. Themed 'Windowsill in the Woods, the café is designed to make you feel like you’re dining in a little wooden house in the forest. Just take a look at the design and you’ll be attracted to it. Do try their famous pies when you’re there, for even the sweetest chocolate mint pie tastes just right and not too sweet.
