DESHAL GUDKA Nairobi, Kenya- Disc Jockey www.soulsounds-ent.net For the past 30 years, Deshal Gudka aka DJ Desh has been a true kingpin in the art of spin and scratch, playing at major clubs in his local vicinity and has also toured places like London, Dubai and Kampala. DJ Desh started spinning while he was still in high school where he raved up school discos and family shows before moving on to clubs, lounges, corporate and private events . Since then Desh has been a no nonsense man on a serious mission to make a heavy dent with a colossal impact on the music partying and raving scene. An attendance to his event guarantees you an absolutely flawless performance by this unrelenting entertainer. His vinyl know no bounds and pay heed to any genre of music, Reggae, Punjabi, Bollywood, EDM, Hip Hop, R&B, Afro Fusion, from the newest to the oldest. This along with his perfect skills of blending scratching and beat matching are enough to take any party by storm. He also decided to share his flawless skills by opening up Soul Sound DJ academy where he trains young enthusiasts who want to have a go at mixing. The most important qualification for the Disc Jockey course is passion for the music, of course. Just like any serious performer would do, DJ Deshal is in constant contact with his fans through his fan pages on Facebook, updating them on his upcoming events. He currently owns Soul Sounds, which was founded in 2006 and has released several mixtapes, some of which can be downloaded from his website. It takes a real DJ to spin and deliver a quality show and DJ Deshal is without a doubt the guy who knows the secret behind a great event and a frenzied dance zone. Dwayne Benjamin Spanish Town, Jamaica-Reggae Singer www.facebook.com/DONZEEFANPAGE Don Zee, born Dwayne Benjamin hails from the parish of Clarendon in Jamaica but currently lives in Spanish Town. His father was a sound system engineer and a DJ and this is how he began to develop the love for music and started writing his music. He wrote his first song in the 5th grade and but it wasn't until the 10th grade that he began to showcase his talent, performing to his local community as well as recording his music. He then collaborated with his brother who was a professional musician(bassist) and opened their own studio, Star D Productions. Their hard work began to reap more success when their hit song, entitled, Mek Di Money, got its first air on a popular Jamaican Radio Station. He continued being persistent and now he has a list of songs under his belt such as Family Come First, Wine up Yuh Body, My Baby and Spread Your Wings And Fly. Don Zee is inspired by Reggae legend Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jacob Miller, Barrington Levy, Sizzla Kolonji, amongst others. Like them, he aims to deliver a positive and uplifting message, in his music. His goal is to be a household name in his native Jamaica as well as gain international recognition. He is currently working on videos for his music which he hopes will be able to give him more fame. A firm believer in God, he knows that he will be guided and led in the right way.
