For example, August 15th is National Best Friend’s Day. An entrepreneur could use this “holiday” to host an event, inviting customers to bring their best friends to visit the business that day. Customers are offered a small gift, food and drinks, and there are special product and service offers. Not only can it be a great sales day, but the entrepreneur can also gain a number of new customers. 3. What key drivers do you see that will specifically affect spa retail and spa consumer spending? As always, consumer confidence and the stock market will impact consumer spending. This is exactly why entrepreneurs need to focus on value and the customer connection.
