ISPA NEWS LOOKING TO GET INVOLVED? Volunteer to be on an ISPA Task Force BY CHRISTINE SCHILLING Are you interested in playing a bigger role in the International SPA Association? By joining an ISPA task force, you can! Task force volunteers have a hand in many important decision-making processes and have the opportunity to voice their opinions. As a task force volunteer, you are able to network with your fellow ISPA peers while enhancing the ISPA community. Task Force Volunteers: ● Focus on the best interests of the association while providing thoughtful input during task force deliberations. ● Actively participate and work toward fulfilling the task force’s goals. ● Carry out individual assignments made by the task force chair. ● Make contributions and voice objective opinions on association issues. ISPA would like to congratulate the following spa professionals who completed the Certified Spa Supervisor (CSS) Exam in August 2012: Todd Walter, CSS Yun Han Liu, CSS Adeline Sarino, CSS Shawn Hallum, CSS Adam Kemmy, CSS Amanda Anderson, CSS Julie Robinson, CSS To learn more about the CSS course: ● ● ● ● ISPA will be accepting applications later this year for the following 2013 Task Forces: ● MEMBERSHIP TASK FORCE: Collaborate and establish innovative ways to connect with new and current ISPA members. ● FOCUS GROUP TASK FORCE: Be one of the first to voice your opinion on current topics being considered by the ISPA Board and ensure ISPA is meeting the needs of members. ● SPEAKER TASK FORCE: Help create the education agenda for the 2013 ISPA Conference & Expo, analyze post-Conference attendee education survey results and review all submitted speaker applications to make recommendations to the ISPA Board for speakers to include in the Conference education program.
