The park’ s pond now has several fountains and a landscaped walkway with several seating areas, places that can become the perfect scenic backdrop for whatever event it taking place, and a pad that Event Coordinator Chloe Carter said had several electrical outlets, so that guests can have a place to plug in cooking items or DJ

equipment.
Carter said the space has been used for weddings, wedding receptions, baby showers, photography sessions and many other events.
And when it’ s not being rented out by others, Carter and the Buchanans host their own events, such as Murder Mysteries, Dinner Theater or“ Candlelight Christmas,” where Gina Buchanan

said they had firepits, hot cocoa and s’ mores for their guests.
Carter explained that she helps to host events that the estate puts on itself.“ We just finished our Valentines Day event, where we did a letterwriting event called‘ Sealed with Devotion.’ We had all the couples in their little domes, so it was warm enough to do that outside. We’ ve got a Mother’ s Day

event coming up in May, so the idea is to have a picnictype brunch, and let the mothers make their own little flower bouquets. Just have a fun time specifically for them.”
