Glenna Henderson, who said she never had a doll as a child.
She now collects them and loves coming in looking for additions to her collection because she knows Melinda is always on the lookout for ones she might like and they will be at a price she can afford.
“ Glenna is a sweetheart. She’ s bought a lot of dolls from me and every time she finds one her eyes light up and she gets so excited," said Melinda. " I’ m always looking for new ones for her.”
Melinda said one reason she wanted to have the store in Nancy was to help the people in the community. That’ s why Red Barn Thrift is a Helping Hands Thrift that provides help for those in need in the community.
“ If someone comes in and needs clothes or something, we’ ll fix you up no questions asked," said Melinda. " We take drop-off donations for this or we can schedule a pickup."
