“ It ’ s a very special flavor ,” said Jeferson Camarena , son of Tasty

Peru owners Richard Galarza and Cynthia De La Cruz .
Tasty Peru specializes in Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken flavored with their unique and original blend of herbs and spices .

Jeferson said his family calls that very special flavor The Secret of the Family Yallico .
“ Every Peruvian always has food in their heart ,” said Richard .
The Yallico family is Cynthia ’ s extended family , and they ’ ve initiated and operated successful Peruvian restaurants in various parts of the U . S . over the last few decades , including in areas of New York and New Jersey , especially in Queens , New

York .
These popular eateries include four Pollo Inka restaurants and twenty Pio Pio restaurants .
Richard said members of his wife ’ s extended family who were experienced and involved in the development of the successful restaurants in New York came to Somerset and spent a few weeks helping his family get Tasty Peru started up and on the right track .
“ We appreciate their help
