local restaurant ." In 1985 , former Chamber Executive Director Jack Keeney started the annual Chamber Golf Scramble . Over 40 years , the event has become one of the local organization ' s largest annual fundraisers . In honor of the late Jack Keeney the event was later named in his honor . In 2024 , the event raised $ 2,400 that was donated to the Somerset Junior Women ' s Club on behalf of Jack Keeney and his family .
For the past 15 years , the chamber has hosted its annual Holiday

Auction , where local merchants donated items to be auctioned off to raise money for scholarships for local high school students who would like to attend Somerset Community College . To date , the Holiday Auction has raised over $ 265,000 and has provided over 120 scholarships .
In 2011 , Bobby Clue took on the role as the Chamber ' s executive director and during that time he has taken the local entity into the next stratosphere with a multitude of highly successful events .
