color rather than the original white.
Wicker is used in the manufacture of
household objects of all shapes and
sizes, including luggage, boxes, chairs,
tables, furniture, among others.
There are pieces of furniture of all
kinds, especially chairs, canapes and
tables, along with other items such as
agricultural baskets, used in the
harvest throughout the island, as well
as the “basket carts” of Monte where
a significant portion of this industry.
Most of the production is currently
destined for export, mainly to central European countries and the United States.
