Mission: The Community Enrichment
Center is committed to break the cycle of
poverty and family violence in our
community.  For 30 years the CEC has been
a partner in change for our Northeast
Tarrant homeless families, women and
children fleeing domestic violence, seniors
and low-income neighbors to move them
out of crisis and into stability through
employment readiness, high school
equivalency, financial coaching, counseling,
safe housing, food and basic necessities.

The intern will:
Work with development staff to assist in fundraising
and donor relations efforts
Create CEC content and post on social media and
mass email system (Constant Contact)
Utilize and expand CEC social media presence to
engage with the online community
Conduct preliminary research on prospective
corporate foundation and individual donors
Maintain foundation, corporation and individual
donor files
Coordinate productions and mailing of the spring
and fall appeal letters
Maintain guest lists, gather and prepare registration
materials and other duties as assigned for fund-
raising events
Assemble media and donor kits for events and
meetings
Prepare media materials for distribution. (i.e.
copying, filing, mailing, e-mailing)
