Academic Intervention Internship: The Academic
Intervention Intern, under direct supervision of the
Branch Site Director, is responsible for providing
activities and services throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities include: 
Implement literacy and other academic
intervention activities for small and large
groups of youth
Tutor 
Classroom management
Track data and assist with reporting
Assist with the design and implementation of
academic intervention strategies and
techniques to improve reading proficiency and
target other academic needs of members in the
after school setting 
Apply knowledge learned in the classroom in
real-world settings to create meaningful
program for underserved youth
