Lobbies/Hoppers/Race Leagues:

Much of the hoppers are the same as they were in prior Forzas. They have hoppers based on classes, a Drag lobby, class lobbies, unlimited drift, and tag. The new edition to the series is a ranked league lobby. This seems to be a great system as it encourages people to play. This system gives the player points based on how many are in the lobby and how they finish. The thought behind it is to keep people coming back to race similarly skilled players. Their are yet again no publicly searchable lobbies. Another welcome addition to the hoppers is the ability to see what/whose tunes the other drivers are using and to directly download the tune from the lobby.

Graphics:

Forza Motorsport 6 has maintained running a wonderful 60fps and 1080p in all conditions; rain, night and full 24 car races. The colors seem a bit brighter and more vibrant than previous Forza series and all in all it looks and performs very well. The lighting in the dark is well balanced and crisp and the shiny effects on the track in wet conditions make it all look very realistic. It is a truly next gen spectacle.

Sound:

Tracks/Weather/Day Night:

In previous Forza's we asked for weather, night racing, and more tracks, T10 has obliged. There are now over 130 available ribbons in forza which include some night circuits and some wet weather circuits. Surely it was just down to performance but there is still no day night cycle or dynamic weather. However the game does work consistently and fans of the series will appreciate consistency over unfinished renders.
