Even though I live in Florida, I am from Texas and
a true Texan at heart. I was a strength and conditioning professional for a few years, training
high school to professional athletes before I became a therapist. In fact, we worked closely with
physical therapists while I was there in designing return to sport programming--that is how I
became interested in pursuing physical therapy.
I am married to my beautiful wife named Kimberly
and have two kids. Caleb, my boy, is just over
2-years-old, and our new addition, Avreana, is
6-weeks-old today. My wife and I come from an
athletic background and enjoy participating in
all sorts of fitness and public health activities and train 4-6 days a week together. We are
also heavily invested in our church family here
in Fort Walton Beach. So, we stay pretty busy.
FUN FACTS:
- I am a huge Texas Longhorns, San Antonio Spurs, and
Dallas Cowboys fan, even though I live in Florida.
- Some people consider me a health food
nut, but I have a monster weakness for
those “make your own frozen yogurt” places.
- I made the cut to be on the movie Friday
Night Lights as one of the football players (not a big role at all), but chose
to
finish
my
Master’s
Degree
instead.
