Village Green Drive public meeting draws community interest
A recent public meeting for the Village Green Drive Corridor Revitalization Project attracted nearly 80 community members eager to learn about the design process and proposed plans aimed at transforming and enhancing connectivity along Village Green Drive.
This project supports improving accessibility and aesthetics along Village Green Drive and its surroundings, effectively linking Crosstown Parkway with critical economic, community and healthcare hubs. The revitalization effort embodies the community’ s vision for a more vibrant and safe corridor.
Additional public meetings and outreach opportunities will be organized in the coming months to ensure ongoing community engagement throughout the design process. Visit the Village Green Drive Corridor Revitalization webpage at CityofPSL. com / VillageGreen to learn more about the history of the project and sign up for updates on future public engagement opportunities.
The project is a joint effort between the City ' s Community Redevelopment Agency( CRA) and Public Works departments.
The City is grateful to our federal partners at the U. S. Department of Transportation who awarded a RAISE planning grant for the design of this important project, and the support of the Port St. Lucie federal delegation including Congressman Brian Mast.
