Emergency Management hosts Tornado Response Training
Tornadoes are highly unpredictable and destructive. Recognizing this, Emergency Management Director Billy Weinshank recently provided Tornado Response Training to ensure City staff knows what actions should be taken during tornadic events.
This training provided clear instructions for City personnel in office and field environments, ensuring all employees have the information necessary to protect themselves from tornadoes that could threaten the City, no matter where they are. To support ongoing preparedness, the training session was recorded and will be available virtually for training across all departments.
Emergency Management remains committed to fostering a culture of readiness and resilience. Through continued education and proactive planning, it aims to strengthen our City’ s ability to face severe weather and protect residents and staff.
