Student Perks Coffee Cart launches at Prineville, and it ' s a sweet success!
The grand opening of the Student Perks Coffee Cart at Utility Systems Department-Prineville was a resounding success!
Employees were eagerly awaiting the arrival of students from St. Lucie West Centennial High School, and within five minutes of opening, the cart drew a crowd. This initiative, part of the Exceptional Student Education( ESE) program, offers students a unique hands-on learning experience. Each interaction, whether ordering coffee or a pastry, contributes directly to their educational journey.
The program helps students build practical skills that support future employability and proudly aligns with the City’ s strategic goal of an Engaged & Connected City, as well as our core values of customer service, stewardship, teamwork and diversity.
We’ re thrilled to welcome the students and look forward to their continued presence each Wednesday at USD – Prineville and Thursdays in Building B’ s lobby during City Hall construction.
