Love Your Block project brings art to public space
The Whispering Pines green space just got a burst of bright, nature‐inspired art! Volunteers were invited to grab a roller and add bright, nature-inspired colors to the fence panels with stencils.
Fourty volunteers from Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful, Naturally PSL, the Youth Council and the Treasure Coast High School Key Club came together to make it happen. Their creativity and teamwork helped to boost neighborhood pride and strengthen community connection, highlight the natural beauty of Whispering Pines and support the Naturally PSL mission to beautify and activate our green spaces.
We’ re proud to see Whispering Pines shining even brighter.
And with pizza and cupcakes, kids biking around and families walking over to join the fun, it truly felt like a neighborhood block party, the kind that brings people together and makes a community feel even more like home. This resident‐led initiative from Love Your Block was funded by the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University.
