PSLPD celebrates month of service, connection and community
This month was filled with meaningful moments for the Port St. Lucie Police Department, highlighting the many ways PSLPD serves and connects with the community. From celebrating a longtime member of the department and welcoming back students to school to opening the doors of the police department through City University, August showcased a continued commitment to service, relationships and community engagement.
The department celebrated the retirement of Senior Sgt. Colin Duncombe, who concluded more than 27 years of dedicated service to PSLPD and the citizens of Port St. Lucie.
Throughout his career, Senior Sgt. Duncombe served in several roles, including Neighborhood Policing Officer, K-9 Officer, Field Training Officer, NPB Sergeant, Traffic Unit Sergeant, Parks and Special Events Sergeant and as a member of the Peer Support Team. His career was marked by professionalism, courage, knowledge and integrity, and his service made a lasting difference in the lives of countless people.
