P. A. T. H.( Prepare. Aspire. Train. Home.) Internship Program
The inaugural cohort of the City of Port St. Lucie ' s P. A. T. H.( Prepare. Aspire. Train. Home.) Internship Program officially graduated Aug. 7, marking the successful completion of an exciting new workforce development initiative for local high school students.
While the City has offered a high school internship program in the past, Human Resources recognized an opportunity to build upon that foundation and create a more comprehensive experience for students.
The result was the P. A. T. H. Internship Program, a program that goes beyond traditional job shadowing by providing meaningful, hands-on work experience, professional development and a deeper understanding of public service and the many career opportunities available within local government. www.
