Congratulations to our new Youth Council members!
On Aug. 24, during the City Council meeting, 56 young residents were appointed to serve on the Port St. Lucie Youth Council, the largest cohort in the council’ s history. This milestone reflects their dedication to our community and their enthusiasm for getting involved.
More than 20 Youth Council members attended the meeting, joined by proud family members who filled the chamber in support of their achievements. For most students, this was their first City Council meeting, marking an important step in their journey of civic engagement.
Throughout the year, they’ ll build leadership skills, contribute to impactful projects and help drive positive changes in our community.
We’ re honored to welcome this outstanding group of future leaders and look forward to all they will accomplish.
