Six Love Your Block projects bring improvements to Whispering Pines neighborhood
Great things are blooming throughout the Whispering Pines neighborhood!
This month, the Love Your Block team, alongside incredible residents and community partners, completed six resident-led improvements that brought new color, creativity and connection to the community.
The entrance at Windmill Point Elementary received a warm and welcoming refresh just in time for the first day of school. All American Signs and Graphics donated nearly 40 volunteer hours to restore the sign with a bold new Wildcat graphic and crisp lettering, while the PTO contributed more than 35 hours preparing the site and planting beautiful landscaping and a vibrant butterfly garden with help from Pinder’ s Nursery and Nature’ s Keeper.
Whispering Pines Park also blossomed with a student-designed mural created by the Treasure Coast High School Key Club. Designed by 18-year-old graduate Ar’ Tavia Reeves, the mural was brought to life by 11 volunteers who spent seven hours painting. Volunteers added two new benches and removed 10 pounds of litter, keeping the park welcoming and full of community pride.
