Grandparents Night: Christmas in July Grandparents Night at the Community Center on July 11 brought together Mimis, Pop Pops and their grandchildren, ages 2-12, for a memorable evening celebrating Christmas in July.
Throughout the night, we heard many heartwarming stories from grandparents sharing that this was their first special night out with their grandchildren. Some families even traveled a long distance to create lasting memories together.
One family shared that the event was a surprise for their granddaughter who had no idea Mimi would be attending. To make the surprise even more special, Mimi presented her granddaughter with a festive superhero cape that read, " Christmas in July with Mimi," creating a heartfelt moment the family will always remember.
The event was filled with holiday cheer from start to finish. Santa greeted every guest and posed for photos, the DJ kept everyone entertained with festive music and families enjoyed a variety of snacks. There was face painting and fairy hair, adding even more magic to the evening.
The smiles, laughter and special moments shared throughout the event made Grandparents Night a wonderful success, creating memories that families will cherish for years to come.
Zumba + Lift offers unique fitness program Fitness brought a special July mini-series of Zumba + Lift to the MIDFLORIDA Event Center throughout July.
This fun and energizing workout, led by Gaby DeCarvalho, was a unique hybrid fitness program created by Beto Perez that combines the highenergy cardio of traditional Zumba with dedicated strength training. Each class alternates between upbeat dance routines and slow, controlled lifting segments using 5-15 pound weights to help build muscle, increase strength and power all while keeping the energy of a dance party from start to finish.
Mini camps at Minsky Gym The first Lacrosse Summer Mini Camp finished last week, and parents were excited about this program offering.
